Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant (100 % Remote Position)

This is a Part Time Remote 20 hour a week contract, Pay Rate Range: $65.00–$75.00 per hour (W2), commensurate with experience We are currently seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to join the VALiNTRY360 Consulting team. The ideal candidate is passionate about Salesforce and digital marketing, highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and an excellent problem solver. This role requires a strong technical background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget), a deep understanding of customer experience and journey design/implementation, and working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud. Candidates should have hands-on experience with email and SMS campaign workflows, deliverability best practices, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and deployment best practices. Essential Job Functions • Demonstrate deep expertise in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform • Work extensively with Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, and Automation Studio • Develop and maintain AMPscript and Content Builder assets • Configure and manage journeys and automations • Integrate Marketing Cloud with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and external systems; knowledge of DMPs and data integrations is essential • Ensure campaigns are deployed with proper tagging, source tracking, and link structures • Manage audience segmentation, data flows into and out of SFMC, and campaign tracking/reporting • Ensure journeys are executed on time and error-free • Lead the development and production of email and SMS/mobile marketing programs Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s) • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud • Strong knowledge of data architecture and integration principles • Proven ability to identify and resolve technical issues at the root cause • Strong project management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Experience building and validating HTML and developing digital marketing content (email, web, mobile, and/or social) • Proficiency in SQL scripting for automated and triggered campaigns, QA/UAT testing, and collaboration with IT partners • Experience managing email and SMS campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred • Experience managing end-to-end marketing campaign execution, including timelines, approvals, creative feedback, and audience targeting • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, marketing, sales, operations, legal, and technical teams • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision • Ability to work cross-functionally without direct reporting authority • Experience in the timeshare/vacation ownership industry is a plus • Demonstrated ability to build trust by delivering accurate, timely, and reliable programs • Ability to remain effective and flexible when priorities, processes, or environments change Applicants for this opportunity must have an unrestricted right to work in the United States.
