Salesforce Consultant (Individual Only) – Review Our Working Style & Implement Best Practices
We are looking for an individual Salesforce expert (no agencies, no teams) who can review how we are currently using Salesforce and guide us toward a more structured, professional, and scalable working style. Our goal is not just “fixing one issue” but improving the way we work in Salesforce using best practices followed globally. Scope of Work: Understand our current Salesforce setup and how our team is using it (objects, fields, page layouts, automations, reports, etc.). Identify bad practices, risks, and inefficiencies in our current working style. Suggest and document best-practice-based processes, including: How to structure objects, fields & page layouts Recommended naming conventions Standard approach for automations (Flows, Validation Rules, etc.) How to manage changes (sandbox usage, testing, deployment discipline) Reporting & dashboard best practices for management Conduct online sessions with our team to explain: What we are doing wrong How we should be working instead Practical guidelines the team can follow daily Optionally review a few key use cases (like Quotes, Job Orders, Approvals, etc.) and suggest better structure. What we are looking for: Only individuals. Please do not apply as an agency or company. Strong hands-on experience as a Salesforce Admin / Consultant (not just theoretical). Experience working with companies to standardize Salesforce usage & processes, not just doing development. Good communication skills and patience to explain concepts to non-technical business users. Comfortable working via online calls/screenshare in our time zone (India, IST) or with some overlap. Deliverables: A short audit report (can be in Word/Google Doc) covering: Key issues in our current working style Recommended best practices and structure Priority-wise action points (what to fix first, next, later) 1–2 online sessions with our team to walk through the recommendations.
