Salesforce Administrator
Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) is a trade association representing over 200 hospitals and health systems. The Salesforce Administrator will support the organization by managing and enhancing the Salesforce platform to ensure effective tracking and management of membership interactions. Responsibilities Serve as the primary system administrator for Salesforce environment Configure, build, test, deploy, and document customizations including fields, objects, workflows, and automation Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision making that advances GNYHA member advocacy efforts Meet with stakeholders of all levels and departments to gather business requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality system enhancements Analyze and evaluate current business processes to recommend and implement Salesforce-driven improvements Oversee user and license management, including creating new user accounts, assigning roles and permissions, and onboarding and training users Provide technical support and troubleshooting for user issues, system errors, and integrations with third-party applications Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce releases, features, and best practices for data quality, security, and compliance in accordance with internal protocols Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field At least one year of professional experience as a Salesforce administrator or in a similar technical role Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, security, workflows, and reporting Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and common business productivity applications Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to maintain comprehensive documentation Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management, with the ability to interact and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to prioritize effectively and recognize when to follow-up or escalate issues Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) Familiarity with technical concepts such as data modeling, APIs, or programming Benefits Defined contribution 401(k) plan with non-elective employer contribution Paid parental leave Health/vision insurance, including options with employer-subsidized health savings account Generous paid time off that increases over time and holidays including one annual floating holiday Dental insurance Company-paid life insurance Health advocacy and employee assistance program Fully sponsored membership in healthcare professional society Tuition reimbursement program Employee discount programs Commuter benefits program Casual dress code Company Overview Greater New York Hospital Association helps hospitals deliver the finest patient care.
