Community Service Society of New York is an independent, not-for-profit organization focused on supporting low-income New Yorkers. They are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to manage day-to-day Salesforce operations, enhance data quality, and collaborate with teams to improve processes. Responsibilities Provide frontline support to Salesforce users via ticketing/email/Teams, resolving issues and answering 'how do I' questions Configure standard Salesforce features (fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, list views, reports, dashboards) Maintain and optimize user setup, profiles, permission sets, queues, and roles Assist with sandbox testing, change sets/deployment, and release management Monitor and improve data quality (deduplication, validation, standardization) Execute routine imports/updates using Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, or approved tools Support data governance policies, documentation, and training Partner with teams to ensure consistent data entry practices Support Data Analysts with reporting and dashboards for development, programs, and leadership Document Salesforce processes, configurations, and 'how-to' guides Support small enhancements and contribute to larger CRM projects under guidance Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and test solutions Identify opportunities to streamline workflows using automation and best practices Skills High school diploma or GED required 1+ year of hands-on Salesforce administration experience Working knowledge of: Objects, fields, relationships Working knowledge of: Profiles/permission sets Working knowledge of: Reports and dashboards Working knowledge of: Basic automation Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Clear communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical users Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize, and meet deadlines Alignment with CSSNY's mission and values Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) or active progress toward it Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Nonprofit Cloud Familiarity with nonprofit CRM usage - fundraising, volunteers, case/workflow management Benefits Health, dental, and vision coverage Life, AD&D, and long-term disability insurance Annual performance-based bonus 403b retirement savings plan Defined benefit retirement plan Flexible spending accounts Commuter benefits plan EAP Paid holidays Vacation Sick Personal days Company Overview A strong New York is an equitable New York.
