We are hiring a Sales Support Specialist to work closely with our Territory Sales Managers, enhancing customer interaction and accelerating sales opportunities. This role is crucial for linking sales, operations, and customers while focusing heavily on order management and administrative excellence. Position Description The Sales Support Specialist provides essential direction and assistance to customers and sales channels, helping to achieve assigned business growth objectives and meet P&L financial targets. You will be responsible for executing regional marketing initiatives, managing customer issue escalation, and streamlining regional business performance reporting. Key Responsibilities (Heavy Focus on Order Entry) Your role centers on managing the complete order lifecycle, requiring meticulous attention to detail: • Order Management (OTR): Heavy focus on Order entry and order management. You will coordinate pre-order booking support through shipment and invoicing, including risk and opportunity management. • Pre-Sales Support (ITO): Handle Intent to Order (ITO) activities, including managing customer inquiries and preparing quotes. • Customer & Financial Support: Serve as the key contact for customer account management, providing troubleshooting for orders and account status, and resolving financial issues such as billing disputes, collections, and processing payments. • Operational & Compliance: Perform operational activities (account/item setup, e-commerce order management) and ensure adherence to business processes and policies. • Reporting & Tools: Provide administrative support by compiling reports, monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and utilizing Salesforce and other tracking tools. • Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute process improvements that boost customer satisfaction and productivity. salary: $25 - $31 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities o Support the focused sales growth of an assigned geographic area to achieve P&L financial targets. May be responsible to assist other regions as necessary, based on available and necessary capacity. o Manage customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems, by phone or e-mail. o Perform operational activities such as creation of accounts, setup of items, management of E-commerce platform orders, follow business processes and policies to ensure compliance. o Intent to Order (ITO) – Presales support, customer inquiries, quote preparation. o Order to Remittance (OTR) - Order entry and order management. Coordinate all entities involved in providing pre-order booking support, order entry and order management support up to shipment and invoicing including sales conversion Risk and Opportunity management.
