About the Role We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our Government and Corporate Affairs Team within the arenaflex family. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex, while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients. Why You'll Love This Job • This role is a member of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division, where you'll have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer service. • As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex, preparing itineraries, computing fares, issuing refunds, and preparing and issuing tickets. • You'll also be responsible for answering inquiries regarding general travel information, resolving customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner, and communicating with customers over the phone to research passenger complaints, advise of cancelled or delayed flights, and communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer. All You'll Need for Success To be successful in this role, you'll need: • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training • Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills • Knowledge of Native SABRE • The ability to be resourceful and creative at immediate problem resolution • A high level of initiative, with the ability to exercise good judgment and be dependable • Satisfactory attendance required Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial for success in this role: • Previous experience in a customer service or sales role • Knowledge of the airline industry and its regulations • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software Skills and Competencies Required for Success To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
