Retirement Planning Advisor (Work From Home) – Flexible Hours

Overview We are looking for dedicated and service-minded Retirement & Pension Specialists to help teachers and government employees make confident decisions about their future. In this client-facing role, you will: • Meet with school staff, public employees, and other government workers—virtually via Zoom. • Explain state pension plans and retirement benefits in clear, easy-to-understand terms. • Identify gaps or opportunities in their current plans. • Provide personalized solutions to help them achieve long-term financial security. Duties • Meet with educators and public employees—virtually or in person—to review and explain their pension and retirement benefits. • Simplify complex pension systems and create easy-to-understand retirement income projections. • Provide guidance on pension upgrades, gap coverage, and supplemental retirement options. • Recommend tailored financial solutions such as annuities, life insurance, or voluntary retirement products to meet client needs. • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with individual clients and school district contacts. • Manage follow-ups, track progress, and keep accurate records of all client interactions within the CRM system. Requirements • Proven ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with clients. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. • Comfortable explaining financial and retirement concepts in clear, simple terms. • Genuine passion for helping others, especially educators and public-sector employees. • Self-motivated, well organized, and able to manage your own schedule. • Effective sales and consultative skills to promote services and grow a client base. • Life and Health Insurance license (or willingness to obtain—company guidance provided).
