Position Summary As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing expert knowledge of our printing, shipping, and signs & graphics services, and driving sales growth. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, utilizing your consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining a wide variety of equipment, managing the production queue and output, and completing assigned tasks based on priority. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer experiences by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions Demonstrate expert knowledge of our printing, shipping, and signs & graphics services, and recommend appropriate products and services to customers Operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and other related equipment Manage the production queue and output, and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits Essential Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent education 6+ months of specialized experience in a retail or customer service environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods Ability to move and lift 55 pounds Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time Ability to work with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a printing, shipping, or signs & graphics environment Knowledge of Quality concepts and principles Experience with inventory management and control Certification in customer service or sales Skills and Competencies Required for Success Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a POS terminal Ability to lift and move heavy objects Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At FedEx Office, we're committed to providing our team members with opportunities for career growth and development.
