The Warehouse Management Functional Consultant will identify and understand clients' business requirements, match them with technical solutions, and work closely with client teams to produce related documentation while participating in coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. Responsibilities • Serve as the subject matter expert on Manhattan Associates (MA) Warehouse Management System (WMOS, WMi, SCALE) or Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System, based on an in-depth knowledge of application features/functions and the unique business requirements of the client • Use this expertise to understand the requirements expressed by the business, translate the requirements into solutions, and work with the business colleagues to manage the resulting change • Prior Operations Experience is crucial; the candidate must be able to manage implementation from a business operations standpoint and also have application knowledge • Delivering business results that reflects creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative and the following abilities: • Managing requirement documents, issues list, and providing project status updates • Identify functional requirements of the MA WMS application for retail, e-commerce, and wholesale distribution channels • Possesses a foundational understanding of supply chain solutions and processes • Review integration mapping documents and validate integration testing results are as expected • Manage and produce the basic functional design documents • Validate basic Technical Design documents in collaboration with developers • Facilitate and support functional acceptance testing: test plan, test data, expected results, and acceptance criteria • Engaging in a contributor role to practice growth through white papers, case studies, proposals, and statements of work development • Building solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive teamwork environment, leverage diverse views to encourage innovation and help develop and grow team members throughout the course of every engagement by providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback • Delivering business results that reflects creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative and the following abilities: • Managing requirement documents, issues list, and providing project status updates • Identify functional requirements of the MA WMS application for retail, ecommerce, and wholesale distribution channels Skills • Full capability to engage with all WMS functionality at a Super User level using one or more of the following systems: Manhattan Associates (MA) WMOS, WMi, SCALE, Labor Management, Blue Yonder • 3+ experience in Consulting or Industry • Warehouse Operations Experience • Use of technique and skill set of Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder (Red Prairie), Tier 1 Warehouse Softwares, or similar in the following areas: Works directly with the customer project team (primarily on-site) during configuration, testing, training, and implementation phases • Troubleshoots and resolves issues that arise during the implementation • Works independently on smaller, moderately complex projects/assignments that have a direct impact on project results and client success • Works with customers to test and implement interfaces between MA products or external systems • Captures and escalates project issues with clear and accurate details • Facilitates design for client-specific enhancements • Performs professional-level work that typically requires processing and interpreting basic issues • Identifies problems and suggests possible solutions and takes appropriate action to resolve • Plans basic aspects of work within specified deadlines with some need to change the priorities • Possesses a foundational understanding of supply chain solutions and processes • Manhattan Associates (MA) WMOS, WMi, SCALE, Labor Management, Blue Yonder • Manhattan Associates, Red Prairie, HighJump, or similar Company Overview • Spinnaker SCA is not like other supply chain consulting firms.
