[Remote] VP of Revenue Cycle Management - Senior Living or Physical Therapy

Novaris Search is partnering with a growth-oriented, PE-backed Outpatient Physical Therapy provider to find a VP of Revenue Cycle Management. The role involves overseeing the revenue cycle specific to outpatient physical therapy, developing RCM strategies, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities • Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle specific to outpatient physical therapy, ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement. • Develop and implement revenue cycle management (RCM) strategies to maximize collections, minimize claim denials, and improve cash flow. • Analyse billing and reimbursement data to identify trends, address issues, and recommend process improvements to strengthen financial performance. • Collaborate closely with physical therapists, front office, and administrative staff to streamline billing workflows and enhance the patient experience. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (including HIPAA) and adhere to best practices for physical therapy billing and coding. • Provide leadership, training, and ongoing support to RCM and front desk teams to maintain high performance and engagement. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle, sharing actionable insights with clinic leadership. • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance payers, including contract negotiations and prompt resolution of billing or reimbursement issues. Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle management • In-depth knowledge of physical therapy billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), and reimbursement processes • Demonstrated success in optimizing financial performance and operational workflows • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with clinical and administrative teams • Master’s degree • Experience in outpatient physical therapy or related rehabilitation settings Company Overview • Novaris Search was founded with a vision to redefine Executive Search by embracing innovation, modernity, and forward-thinking approaches.
