[Remote] Vice President of Compliance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VitalHub UK is seeking a Vice President of Compliance to lead their global compliance team. This role involves developing and overseeing the compliance program, ensuring adherence to various standards, and promoting a culture of compliance within the organization. Responsibilities • Lead the Compliance team and oversee audits and certifications around the world • Develop a Compliance programme within the team to ensure clear responsibilities, workflow and touch-points • Ensure the business and subsidiaries are compliant with relevant ISO (ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.), SOC2, CE and other standards, as required by the business • Establish and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls across all business units • Ensure effective training programs to promote compliance awareness among employees • Implement systems for reporting, investigating, and resolving compliance issues • Identify additional compliance frameworks and tools that would benefit the business • Prepare and present compliance reports to executive leadership and the board • Oversee internal audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. Prepare, conduct and track assessments and progress for internal training purposes • Stay updated on changes in compliance standards and other relevant regulations. Ensure that the organisation’s processes are adjusted accordingly • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and quality/security enhancement • Any other duties or requests as expected by the business from time to time Skills • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as IT, Engineering, Information Security • Experience in a senior compliance role is required • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 and SOC2 standards • Excellent leadership and strategy building skills • Excellent presentation skills • Strong attention to detail • Good organizational and communication skills • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Confluence • Methodical and patient • Integrity and commitment to ethical standards • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Strong initiative and a proactive approach to tasks • Experience leading a team and working both with auditors for accreditation assessments and internal auditing is strongly desirable • Experience of working without the healthtech, cyber security or similar sector is desirable • Familiarity with global regulatory requirements in the healthtech sector is preferred Company Overview • VitalHub UK is a health-tech company that simplifies the complexities of data integration to improve patient flow.
