Alliance Animal Health is a fast-growing Veterinarian Service Organization dedicated to providing support to veterinary practices across the US. The Veterinary Campus Recruiting Specialist – Student Programs is responsible for connecting veterinary students with career pathways, designing engaging campus programs, and fostering relationships with educational institutions. Responsibilities • Assist in the design, coordination, and facilitation of veterinary student wetlabs, workshops, and hands-on learning experiences to strengthen engagement and clinical confidence. • Serve as a visible and trusted clinical ambassador for Alliance Animal Health at universities, student conferences, and career fairs across the U.S. • Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary schools, faculty, and student organizations to promote externship and career opportunities. • Collaborate with the Student Programs Director to develop and implement strategic campus recruiting initiatives aimed at attracting diverse and passionate DVM students. • Conduct outreach and ongoing relationship management with students, nurturing their journey from externship through early career stages. • Partner with regional and hospital leaders to identify externship placement opportunities and ensure a strong match between student learning goals and hospital capabilities. • Coordinate and manage campus events, presentations, and sponsorship opportunities, including travel logistics and budgeting. • Support the maintenance of a robust Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and CRM, ensuring accurate candidate tracking and reporting. • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Operations teams to elevate brand presence and student program visibility. • Travel up to 75% during the academic year (September–May); travel may decrease as the team expands. Skills • Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) in good standing. • 3–5 years of clinical veterinary experience, preferably including emergency or specialty practice exposure. • Passion for mentorship, education, and empowering veterinary students through hands-on experiences. • Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to confidently engage students and faculty in both small and large group settings. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport and trust with students, faculty, and hospital partners. • Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment. • Experience with event coordination and/or campus outreach preferred. • Comfort with technology, social media, and virtual meeting platforms. • Must reside within 25 miles of a major airport; passport required. • Experience facilitating wetlabs, CE sessions, or educational events for veterinary students. • Previous involvement in veterinary recruiting, campus relations, or professional development initiatives. • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or CRM software. • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Technology, or related field.
