About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writing Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a Technical Writing Specialist, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality technical documentation for our cloud database services. Your expertise will help our customers understand, visualize, implement, and operate their cloud database infrastructure with ease. You will work closely with our engineers, product management team, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive documentation that meets the needs of our technical audience. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, write, and publish technical documentation for our cloud database services, including critical customer journeys, concepts, and guidelines for how customers do business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and UX research, to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that help customers along these journeys. Work closely with our cloud database authors to continually improve practices and deliver an excellent customer experience. Mentor and support other authors on the cloud databases team to ensure consistency and quality in our documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive and prioritize technical writing initiatives, ensuring that our documentation meets the needs of our customers and aligns with our business objectives. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication or equivalent practical experience. At least 2 years of technical writing experience, preferably in a related field such as cloud computing or software development. Preferred Qualifications Experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL, and cloud products, including arenaflex's cloud database services. Experience in a related role, creating technical documentation for a technical audience, preferably for enterprise cloud services. HTML or Markdown skills, as well as experience working in a Unix environment. Ability to navigate ambiguity, support multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven communication and team skills, with a strong initiative and ability to work independently.
