[Remote] Supply Chain Consultant, Operations Strategy

The candidate will be responsible for executing consulting projects, optimizing processes, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Perform DC Operational Assessments to evaluate and make improvement recommendations to warehouse systems, processes, labor, and space • Record time study data of operational processes, analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities, and determine possible improvement opportunities and cost savings • Leverage data analysis tools to perform detailed analysis that drive insights and highlight opportunities • Develop strategic recommendations that could include automation, systems, or design initiatives • Perform financial analysis to understand financial implications including determining ROI, payback periods, investments, and other financial considerations • Create detailed, high-impact presentations that document strategic insights, business cases, and client roadmaps • Remain up-to-date on the latest supply chain trends, technologies, and system landscape • Cross train on other consulting service offerings such as network strategy, facility design, S&OP projects Skills • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields is required • Strong analytical abilities to turn mass data into project insights utilizing relational databases such as SQL • Ability to identify barriers to productivity and optimize warehouse processes via LEAN process improvement, warehouse systems, facility design concepts, etc • Ability to justify recommended solutions including financial analysis • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques • Proficient in MS Application Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint • Requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal with project team, customers, and vendors • Requires excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail • Ability to successfully work on projects with others towards a common goal • Must practice the highest level of confidentiality of clients' intellectual property • Adapt to changes in work (i.e. new client requirements or specifications) • Adjust working hours to accommodate busy periods • Expected Travel Time: About 25-50% • This position can be performed from anywhere in the United States, and is fully remote • 1 – 3+ years of professional industry experience preferred • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or Smart Sheet is a plus • Time study experience preferred Benefits • Competitive Pay + Performance Bonuses– Your impact matters, and we make sure it shows in your paycheck • Comprehensive Health Coverage– Choose from top-tier Medical, Dental, and Vision plans that work for you and your family • Generous PTO, Paid Holidays & Volunteer Days– Recharge, celebrate, and give back with time off that supports your life and passions • Peace of Mind– Enjoy company-paid Life Insurance and Short- and Long-Term Disability benefits • Paid Sabbatical– After seven years of service, take a well-earned break to rest, recharge, or explore • 401(k) with Company Match– Invest in your future with a retirement plan that grows alongside you • Flexible Work Options– Balance life and work with hybrid and remote opportunities that support how you thrive • Employee Referral Bonus– Know someone amazing?
