[Remote] Software Technical Lead

As a Software Technical Lead, you will lead the design and development of systems engineering for the Unified Claims Acceleration Platform, engaging with teams to define, develop, and deploy capabilities that enhance claims processing for Veterans. Responsibilities • Lead the design and definition system and software engineering for the intended functionality to be included in UCAP. • Participate in technical reviews to verify the desired functional capability meets the desired outcomes hosted in an AWS Cloud Environment. • Identifies customer requirements, analyzes alternatives, and conducts product recommendations related to software, platform, and network configurations. • Support Product Owners in their management of requirements and product features for milestone definition and tracking of UCAP capabilities. • Assist with the management of requirements and stakeholder collaboration sessions. • Utilize professional judgement, critical thinking skills and research to improve program processes and resolve issues affecting program performance. • Prepare ad hoc presentations and reports and present them to VA stakeholders. • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced software and engineering professionals. • Support change management activities that lead to success adoption of UCAP functionality being deployed and matured.
