Parsons Corporation is a leading company in the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets, seeking a Salesforce Programmer Analyst to support Salesforce development initiatives. The role involves gathering requirements, designing solutions, coding, configuring features, and providing ongoing support for Service Cloud capabilities. Responsibilities Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation or improvement Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, project managers, and business analysts Strong analysis skills, to help with production troubleshooting, determining how a change may impact the system across the various objects and across integrated systems Develop and execute test plans to ensure software meets business requirements Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and operational procedures Design, develop, unit test, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform with a primary focus on Service Cloud Strong Salesforce configuration skills with proficiency in Salesforce business automation tools Experience with building Communities, Reports and Dashboards Learning to use Copado for CICD deployments from sandbox to production Skills Minimum of 1 – 3 years of hands-on Salesforce.com development experience including APEX (triggers, classes, batch jobs), custom lightning web components (LWC or Aura), SOSL, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, web services and declarative tools (Flows, case assignment rules, validation rules) Experience with front end languages and backend tools for web engineering such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to use critical thinking and logic skills to isolate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies Great time management and prioritization skills; Strong ownership of quality in code, and user experience/user interface Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience US Person Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I preferred or in progress Benefits Medical Dental Vision Paid time off Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) 401(k) Life insurance Flexible work schedules Holidays Company Overview Parsons is an engineering, construction, technical and management services firm for national security and global infrastructure markets.
