The Loan Advisor role involves assisting customers with loan applications, analyzing financial information, and ensuring compliance with sales processes while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities • Analyzes applicant information to determine whether the customer qualifies for a beneficial loan program • Assists customers in discussing financial objectives and goals and takes the initial loan application • Clearly communicates the loan program terms and benefits available to the customer as well as the loan process • Ensures all required documents are returned and disclosures are signed in a timely manner • Follows our sales process and QA requirements to remain compliant • Continually meets and/or exceeds the Sales KPI’s set by Management • Is responsive to customers’ needs and expectations • Has excellent communication skills and is clear, concise, and professional when speaking with customers • Is eager to develop knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines • Has strong knowledge of mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines • Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures • Maintain regular and punctual attendance • Performs other related duties as assigned Skills • High School Diploma required • At least one (1) year of mortgage sales experience • NMLS/SAFE, at least 1 active license or at a minimum, the ability to be licensed without having to retake the SAFE exam • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and workplace policies • Ability to analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, procedures, and governmental regulations • Ability to write professional correspondences • Ability to write routine business reports • Ability to speak effectively with other employees and/or customers • Ability to present formal information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees • Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, managers, employees, customers and/or the public • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations • Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions • Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Company Overview • Freedom Mortgage is a full-service mortgage lender with strong customer service and a unique streamlined process.
