Key Responsibilities Process medical ROI requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Utilize Verisma software applications to manage and process medical records, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues, demonstrating expertise in handling sensitive and confidential information. Organize records and documents to complete the ROI process, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Read and interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations, applying knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations. Provide exemplary customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring a positive experience for customers and stakeholders. Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and friendly manner, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment. Utilize reference materials and training to ensure compliance and confidentiality are maintained, staying up-to-date on regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge, staying current with industry developments and company initiatives. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in administrative and clerical skills. A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical records or a related field, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail. 2+ years of experience completing clerical or office work, with a strong understanding of office equipment and software applications. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications to complete tasks, with a high level of proficiency in a variety of tools. The ability to work independently, with a strong sense of self-motivation and discipline. A detail-oriented approach to work, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
