[Remote] Procurement Contract Manager (Pharmaceutical Industry)

They are actively seeking a Contract Manager with direct experience in procurement contracts within the pharmaceutical industry to oversee the contract workflow and collaborate with various stakeholders. Responsibilities • Oversee the end-to-end contract workflow, from initial intake to final execution • Review and validate contract request submissions, coordinating with requestors to obtain any missing information • Submit contract requests into the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system (Coupa) and initiate workspace creation • Assemble contracts using standardized templates and appendices • Conduct initial review of third-party redlines with minimal supervision, adhering to established negotiation parameters and legal guidance • Collaborate with Procurement Category Managers, business units, and subject matter experts (e.g., Data Privacy, Safety, Quality, IT) during contract review • Lead negotiations with counterparties to finalize contract terms • Manage contract approvals, execution, and follow-up activities throughout the workflow • Input key contract data to support reporting and analytics initiatives Skills • Bachelor's degree required • 3+ years of contract review experience required • Pharma / Biotech experience required • Demonstrated ability to apply organizational standards and established playbooks when drafting and negotiating contracts • Skilled in negotiating agreements with external parties in close collaboration with Legal, Procurement, and SMEs • Strong aptitude for understanding internal stakeholder needs and communicating confidently and diplomatically across functions Benefits • Fully remote • Compensation commensurate with experience and complexity of engagement • 401(k) with company match • PTO and paid federal holidays • Optional medical coverage; HSA Account; Wellness Program Company Overview • Epiq Counsel helps manage in-house workflow by engaging experienced legal professionals.
