Remote Part-Time Therapist (Specializing in Working with Mom)
A Rhaea Hope is seeking a part-time virtual Pre-licensed or Fully-Licensed Therapist to join our growing Virginia-based private practice. We’re seeking a therapist with a passion for supporting mothers who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or lost in their caregiving roles. This role is ideal for a clinician who understands the emotional complexity of motherhood, including identity loss, burnout, anxiety, and the pressure to "do it all." You’ll work with clients who love their children deeply but miss themselves, helping them reconnect with who they are beyond the role of "mom." Experience in maternal mental health, life transitions, or perinatal/postnatal care is a plus. If you’re skilled at creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where mothers can be fully seen and supported, we’d love to hear from you. Potential candidate must reside in VA. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual therapy to adult women (primarily mothers) navigating identity shifts, life transitions, relationship strain, burnout, career confusion, and anxiety; Create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for clients who are torn between showing up for their families and honoring their own needs, dreams, and self-worth; Use evidence-based approaches (e.g. CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, narrative, trauma-informed care) tailored to each client’s needs; Complete comprehensive treatment plans with the client; Comprehensively and accurately document all services provided and submit all documentation (i.e., progress notes, Treatment Plan, discharge summary) within 48 hours of service completion; Continually assess the client’s needs, service availability, diagnosis, and the appropriateness of the services provided; Attend weekly individual supervision and monthly group supervision; Manage a caseload of 15 clients per week; Quarterly classes Qualifications: Must be eligible for supervision to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or be Licensed in VA 1 year of experience (preferable) Must reside in Virginia Strong Internet Connection Computer Literacy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
