[Remote] Midwife - United Kingdom

They are seeking a mission-driven, empathetic Midwife to provide virtual care and support to women and their families during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods. Responsibilities • Provide virtual care care and support to women and their families while pregnant, throughout labor, and during the period after a baby's birth via 10-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging. • Decisions on all labor and delivery options at hospital, birth centers, or home births • Postpartum care, including breastfeeding, vaginal discharge and incontinence issues • Perinatal mood disorders, such as postpartum depression and anxiety • Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice • Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups • Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone Skills • Must be a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) • Must be residing in the United Kingdom • Possess the ability to provide direct member care for 5 hours per week. This is a part-time, independent contractor role (1099 position) • Have 3+ years practicing independently • Have 3+ years of prior experience in the telehealth space.
