Key Responsibilities: Driving Clinical Excellence Telephonic Outreach and Collaboration: Engage in telephonic outreach with treating providers to discuss evidence-based guidelines, identify opportunities to close clinical quality and service gaps, and implement care plan changes that can positively impact healthcare expenses. Collaboration with Operational and Business Partners: Work closely with operational and business partners to develop and implement clinical and quality initiatives at the site and customer level, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and industry best practices. Evidence-Based Medicine: Apply expertise in evidence-based medicine (EBM) and InterQual care guidelines to inform care management decisions, ensuring that our members receive high-quality, medically necessary care. Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to our team of nurses and support staff, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and ensuring that our care management practices are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate Medical Licensure: Possess an active, unrestricted medical license in Indiana and reside within the state. Board Certification: Hold current Board Certification and maintenance in an ABMS or AOBMS specialty, demonstrating expertise in your area of specialization. Clinical Practice Experience: Bring a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience to the role, having developed a deep understanding of the complexities of inpatient care management. Technical Proficiency: Possess technical proficiency in computer software and systems, ensuring seamless remote work and effective collaboration with our team. Private Home Office: Maintain a private home office with access to high-speed Internet, ensuring a distraction-free work environment. Preferred Qualifications: Enhancing Your Application Experience in Care Management: Bring prior experience in care management, having worked in inpatient care management or a related field.
