[Remote] Land Development Engineering Technician

The Land Development Engineering Technician role involves using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Excel to design and prepare plans for various civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Use of AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water main, sanitary and storm sewer systems and site improvements Use of Microsoft Excel for development of project bid item tables, quantities and cost opinions Prepare construction plans and specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies and reports for a wide range of public and private infrastructure systems Learning new design techniques and construction capabilities to bring clients the most innovative and creative solutions Skills Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related Experience working in AutoCAD Civil 3D Worked and reviewed project plans and cost estimating Background on Civil Municipal or Land Development Projects (preferred) Previous Stormwater project experience Reside in North Carolina Benefits Being 100% employee-owned means we all share in the company’s success Career development through continued education, licensure/certification, skills, and technical training Work arrangements that promote work/life balance Flexible holidays enable individuals to tailor their festivities Paid Family Leave provides time to care for loved ones, whether family by birth or family by choice Company Overview SEH is an civil engineering firm.
