[Remote] Junior Event Coordinator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CMG Financial is a company in the hospitality and event industry seeking a Junior Event Coordinator. The role involves planning and coordinating events, managing vendors, and ensuring client satisfaction while adhering to budgets and timelines. Responsibilities Administrative duties as needed including but not limited to managing approval and tracking of smaller company events across the organization Work with the Event Team and Event Stakeholders to understand goals and objectives, requirements, parameters and budget for each event Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints Create reliable financial reports Remain under budget with all costs Book venues and schedule speakers Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable term in conjunction with Manager and Legal Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations, etc.) Handle final checks on the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems Evaluate event’s success and submit report Stablishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and venues Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining, and guests Manage events and address potential problems that may arise Planning for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event Communicate directly with Management, Executive Team and Event Stakeholders throughout the event planning process to achieve event goals and objectives Coordinate guest list and vendor specifications Working closely with the Events Team to ensure event success Other projects assigned by Manager Skills Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience Ability to support West Coast hours Familiarity with event planning process Proficient in MS Office Excellent vendor management skills Communication and interpersonal skills Strong Organizational skills Able to handle stress and remain calm Strong problem-solving ability Able to work well individually and in a group with little oversight Keeping checklist and milestones up to date Detailed-oriented and reliable with good time management skills Budgeting and Logistics preferred Company Overview CMG Financial is a well-capitalized, privately held mortgage-banking firm.
