The Role: Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a difference in patients' lives? We're looking for talented and caring Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representatives to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll act as an extended business office representative for our clients, helping patients and their families understand their medical bills, answering their questions, and resolving account balances. Key Responsibilities: Utilize empathy and excellent communication skills to help patients and their families comprehend complex medical bills and provide them with resolution options. Deliver outstanding customer service by collaborating with patients over the phone to establish affordable payment plans and process payments. Demonstrate computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail by accurately documenting all calls and follow-ups in our software systems. Support your team members through consistent attendance, a strong work ethic, and a caring team focus. Continuously improve your performance with supportive coaching, feedback from your manager and team leads, and ongoing training. Essential Qualifications: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or billing context. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills and proficiency in software applications. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of calls. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare billing or a related field. Knowledge of medical billing processes and terminology. Work Environment and Company Culture As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you'll work from the comfort of your own home. However, you're required to attend a mandatory one-day in-office orientation at our Denver/Aurora office for local residents. We offer a flexible work environment with modified in-office work options available for those who prefer an office setting. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base annual pay ranging from $37,440 to $43,680 based on prior experience. You'll also be eligible for monthly performance bonuses ranging from $100 to $400. Additionally, we hold company and individual team contests on a monthly, weekly, and quarterly basis, with gift cards and prizes based on customer service and performance goals.
