Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 7Seventy Recruiting is seeking a Financial Analyst to perform financial analysis on company expenses, income, and overall business results. The role involves helping leadership understand financial trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and making data-driven decisions to improve performance. Responsibilities • Perform financial analysis on company income, expenses, and other business results based on historical, current, and projected operations. • Research, analyze, and report fluctuations in financial and business results to identify trends and variances; recommend actions to improve performance and resolve issues. • Analyze differences between actual financial results and budgeted amounts; advise management on potential cost impacts and suggest corrective actions. • Assist in preparing company budgets and financial forecasts to support business plans. • Monitor and evaluate individual department expenses and identify trends to support cost control efforts. • Recommend changes to streamline accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and resource utilization. • Prepare reports outlining the company’s financial position, including income, expenses, and earnings, to support financial decision-making. • Analyze and interpret financial reports and statistics for management; make recommendations to support sound business decisions. Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • 4+ years of financial analysis or related experience. • Demonstrated experience performing cost-benefit and alternative scenario analysis. • Proven ability to document, propose, negotiate, and present approaches and solutions to stakeholders. • Proficiency with spreadsheet applications (such as Microsoft Excel) and mainframe or ERP accounting systems. • Ability to visualize and plan for future business outcomes and changes. • Strong understanding of business implications, interdependencies, and system interfaces. • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to work across teams and levels. • Experience facilitating meetings and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day responsibilities. • Experience working with ERP systems. • Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise financial systems.
