As a key member of our Customer Support Center (CSC), you will play a vital role in providing information and assistance to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers regarding eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange. The Maryland Health Connection is a state-based health insurance marketplace that provides a platform for individuals and families to explore and enroll in health insurance plans. As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be an integral part of the CSC, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and support. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and support to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers via phone, email, or other communication channels. Assist customers with eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid and Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange. Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of MHC policies, procedures, and programs. Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives to ensure delivery of high-quality service. Meet productivity and quality standards while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must: Be a resident of the state of Maryland. Have prior call center experience, with a strong background in customer service. Possess a personal computer with at least an i5 processor or higher and a high-speed internet connection. Be available for a QC Interview with the Client during the week of September 16-20th and attend the Real Job Preview on September 27th. Pass a State Policy Exam with a score of 80% or higher. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with CRM software and eligibility and enrollment portals. Knowledge of health insurance plans, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. The training schedule is as follows: Training Start Date: October 2, 2024. Training Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, Monday to Friday (Day 1-7 and Day 8-15). Nesting Period: 4 weeks, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST. Post-training schedule: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, 8-hour day shift. Why Join blithequark?
