[Remote] Culinary Trainer Team Lead, Dashmart Kitchens

In this role, you will lead a team of Culinary Trainers, oversee training execution, coordinate new concept launches, and ensure operational standards are upheld across multiple culinary concepts. Responsibilities • Oversee and coordinate trainer resourcing for new concept launches • Partner with site operators and central teams to ensure launches are properly staffed, training plans are executed on time, and trainers are set up for success in the field • When necessary, also work hands-on with our Site Operators to administer training & support in the field • Provide continuous support to site teams through regular training touch-points, auditing of material and process adherence • Ensure teams consistently uphold high operational standards, identify areas for improvement, and reinforce best practices to drive sustainable operations • Manage, coach, and support a team of Culinary Trainers • Own performance management, development planning, and ongoing feedback to ensure trainers are effective, engaged, and growing in their roles • Own onboarding for new Culinary Trainers, including shadowing plans and training readiness • Ensure trainers are aligned on expectations, training standards, and best practices • Owns projects end-to-end by defining success metrics, coordinating cross-functional partners, assigning clear ownership, and proactively removing or escalating blockers to keep timelines on track • Maintain an adaptable schedule to ensure we can fully support site teams when and where they need us • Track training progress, effectiveness, and outcomes across sites • Audit training execution, identify trends or gaps, and partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve training programs and materials • Partner closely with site operators and central stakeholders to troubleshoot challenges, share insights from the field, and align on operational improvements • Step in as a leader when needed to stabilize operations, reinforce standards, and support teams in real time Skills • 3+ years of experience cooking and training in a high-volume kitchen environment including fast-casual, QSR, and from-scratch restaurants • 3+ years of people management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing a team in a fast-paced, operational environment • Strong people leader who enjoys coaching, developing, and empowering others while holding teams accountable to high standards • Self-motivated, positive, and a team player that works well with others, but also excels in roles with little oversight • Organized, thoughtful, and comfortable balancing execution with strategy in a fast-moving environment • Willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done whether it's digging into a new process to determine how best to communicate or helping troubleshoot a technical issue • Data-informed and comfortable tracking training progress, identifying trends, and sharing insights with cross-functional partners • Proficient in Google Docs/Sheets and creating documentation to track and share findings • Collaborate well across teams and communicate clearly, even when navigating ambiguity or competing priorities • Willing to travel and be on-site in dynamic restaurant environments, requiring approximately 50-60% travel Benefits • 401(k) plan with employer matching • 16 weeks of paid parental leave • Wellness benefits • Commuter benefits match • Paid time off • Paid sick leave in compliance with applicable laws (e.g. Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act) • Medical, dental, and vision benefits • 11 paid holidays • Disability and basic life insurance • Family-forming assistance • Mental health program Company Overview • DoorDash is a food delivery platform that connects customers with local and national businesses.
