[Remote] Creative Art Director

TACORI is a luxury jewelry brand seeking a Creative Art Director who will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the brand's visual identity and creative output. This hands-on role involves leading visual ideation, executing high-priority brand assets, and ensuring adherence to the brand's quality and aesthetic standards across various platforms. Responsibilities • Lead the visual ideation and concept development for all major marketing campaigns (print, digital, social, video). • Define the creative vision and visual mood for photo and video shoots ensure assets reflect the brand’s luxury standard and emotional narrative. • Translate business goals and creative briefs into unique, executable design solutions that elevate the brand's image. • Design and execute high-priority brand assets, including digital landing pages, print collateral, display signage, and social media campaigns. • Maintain absolute authority over the aesthetic quality, including typography, layout, color theory, and photographic retouching standards. • Collaborate closely with the Copywriter to ensure a cohesive and impactful synergy between visual and written messaging. • Oversee and evolve the comprehensive Visual Identity and Brand Style Guidelines across all creative materials and channels. • Ensure all external vendors (photographers, retouchers, agencies) strictly adhere to TACORI's high standards for quality and brand integrity. • Stay current on luxury design trends, competitive visual strategies, and innovative production techniques. • Prepare and organize final production files for various outputs (e.g., print, web, video), ensuring technical precision for flawless reproduction. • Work closely with the team to estimate time, manage creative bandwidth, and adhere to production schedules and budgets. • Oversee the organization, tagging, and maintenance of the digital asset library. Skills • Master-level understanding of design, typography, photography, and luxury aesthetics. • Proven ability to create sophisticated, elevated designs appropriate for a high-end jewelry brand, with an expert eye for detail, composition, and color. • Extensive experience directing and collaborating with photographers and videographers on product and lifestyle shoots. • Exceptional skill in using design, typography, and image treatment to convey complex emotional and narrative messages. • Deep understanding of the technical specifications and design best practices across print, web, and social media platforms. • Must be a proactive, hands-on designer capable of executing work themselves, not just delegating tasks. • Ability to clearly communicate visual direction and provide constructive feedback to teammates and vendors. • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite is required. • Proficiency in digital asset management (DAM) systems and file organization best practices. • Experience with photo retouching and color correction for luxury product photography. • Familiarity with presentation tools and creative project management tools (e.g., Asana).
