They are seeking a Cloud Developer to support application code development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive application development in cloud environments. Responsibilities Support activities related to application code development, bug fixes, release management, deploying infrastructure as code, data management, and general cloud support Collaborate with other Full-Stack Cloud, Data, Security, and FinOps experts to build on each other’s skills and achieve program milestones Drive application development, address bugs, and deliver features and solutions on time Utilize AWS serverless and container solutions with GitHub and Jenkins to develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code and develop and maintain ReactJS web applications Analyze customer requirements and provides technical expertise on cloud computing techniques and technologies of moderate complexity Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Support integrity and security of systems Work with serverless and containerized web development architectures Develop responsive web applications using ReactJS, ensuring high performance and responsiveness Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use Design, develop, and maintain API structures Work with AWS Storage and Analytics services (S3, Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Lake Formation, etc.) Work with AWS Compute and Management services (Lambda, EC2, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.) Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency in cloud environments Analyze customer requirements and provides solutions according to the client's wide range of moderately complex specifications and needs Provide thorough testing and finalization of applications and websites for next level production Maintain and recommends moderately complex updates to websites ensuring changes are implemented without disruption Build upon current knowledge of relevant programming that will enhance web applications and websites overall functionality Skills 1 + years of related experience Experience with multiple AWS services to include Lambda and S3 Hands on experience with building serverless applications Experience developing with ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, SQL, and GitHub Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team Relevant and related technical training, certification(s) or degree Cloud Certifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Multi-Cloud Knowledge (two or more GCP, OCI, Azure, AWS) Experience w/Terraform, Jenkins, CLI Familiarity with Agile methodology Experience with task tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence Benefits Comprehensive benefits and wellness packages 401K with company match Paid time off Variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts Dental plan options Vision plan Variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees Short and long-term disability benefits Life, accidental death and dismemberment, personal accident, critical illness and business travel and accident insurance Company Overview General Dynamics Information Technology is an IT consulting company that specializes in cyber security, AI, and quantum computing.
