GovCIO is currently hiring for an AI Clinical Integration and AI Technical Readiness Product Manager to oversee the technical readiness, clinical integration validation, and clinical workflow alignment of AI-enabled technologies deployed within VA clinical environments. The role focuses on ensuring AI solutions function reliably within clinical systems and coordinating technical readiness activities with various stakeholders. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary technical owner for AI-enabled clinical products from pilot through readiness assessment • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of AI system behavior within clinical workflows and environments • Ensure AI products meet defined clinical and technical readiness and reliability standards prior to broader deployment • Coordinate leadership, clinical, and technical readiness activities with VA Medical Center pilot sites • Validate configuration, access, and workflow prerequisites for AI-enabled technologies • Identify technical risks or readiness gaps and recommend mitigation actions • Oversee integration validation and technical testing activities performed by technical testing teams • Review and assess test findings, defect reports, and validation results • Confirm that integration issues are appropriately diagnosed and resolved in coordination with vendors and VA OIT • Lead technical root cause analysis for integration, configuration, or infrastructure-related issues • Coordinate with vendor engineering teams, VA OIT, and site technical staff to support issue resolution • Verify corrective actions and confirm restored or expected system functionality • Develop and maintain technical readiness documentation, validation summaries, and risk assessments • Provide concise technical updates and readiness reports to VA leadership and stakeholders • Ensure traceability between technical findings, remediation actions, and readiness outcomes • Prioritize technical issues, readiness activities, and validation workstreams based on clinical impact and risk • Coordinate across multiple AI initiatives as directed, ensuring consistent technical standards and practices Skills • Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline, health informatics, computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 12+ years of experience • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise projects in a healthcare environment • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and how technology integrates into provider-facing systems • Experience coordinating with engineering, infrastructure, and vendor teams to resolve technical issues • Ability to analyze technical problems, synthesize findings, and communicate clearly to both technical and clinical stakeholders • Experience working with AI-enabled or data-driven clinical technologies • Experience supporting clinical technology systems in healthcare environments • Familiarity with CPRS, VistA, or comparable electronic health record environments • Experience supporting pilot deployments or readiness validation of clinical technologies • Background in technical project and product management, systems integration, and/or solution validation • Experience working within federal healthcare or large integrated healthcare delivery systems Benefits • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Corporate Discounts • Learning & Development platform, to include certification preparation content • Training, Education and Certification Assistance* • Referral Bonus Program • Internal Mobility Program • Pet Insurance • Flexible Work Environment Company Overview • GovCIO is a business consulting firm that focuses on cyber security, digital, data, management and mission services, and IT services.
