The role involves partnering with finance leadership to design strategies that enhance efficiency and value creation in finance functions through transformation, outsourcing, and technology optimization. Responsibilities • Lead and contribute to proposal preparation and client presentations for finance transformation and outsourcing opportunities • Identify and articulate client challenges, value propositions, and solution approaches aligned to their finance strategy • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design compelling, integrated client offerings • Support pricing, scoping, and contracting activities for finance transformation and BPO engagements • Design and implement Target Operating Models (TOMs) for finance functions covering people, process, technology, and governance • Drive end-to-end finance process transformation, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) • Assess and improve finance performance through automation, analytics, and digital enablement (AI) • Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance measurement systems to enable continuous improvement • Evaluate and design shared services and outsourcing models for finance operations • Support vendor selection, transition planning, and operational governance for BPO engagements • Work with delivery centers and offshore teams to ensure service quality, efficiency, and alignment with client expectations • Oversee operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement programs in BPO setups • Act as a trusted advisor finance leaders on transformation and performance improvement agendas • Manage key stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment of project objectives with strategic outcomes • Present complex insights and recommendations to senior management in a clear, actionable manner • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver transformation programs on time, within scope and budget • Develop project plans, risk mitigation strategies, and communication protocols • Ensure compliance with internal and client governance standards Skills • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or professional qualification (CA, CPA, CMA) preferred • 8–15 years of experience in finance transformation, CFO advisory, or consulting, including exposure to shared services/BPO • Strong understanding of financial processes, digital technologies (Automation, Analytics, AI) and performance management frameworks • Proven track record in delivering complex transformation programs • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills • Master's Degree • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) • Exposure to automation tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism) • Strong proposal writing and presentation development capability • Understanding of outsourcing transitions, SLAs, and commercial models Company Overview • IBM is an IT technology and consulting firm providing computer hardware, software, infrastructure, and hosting services.
