[Remote] BIM Specialist - Civil Infrastructure

They are seeking a talented BIM Specialist – Civil to provide technical support and training on CAD, BIM, VDC, and GIS workflows while consulting with clients to identify challenges and recommend tech-driven solutions. Responsibilities • Provide technical support, subject matter expertise, and training on CAD, BIM, VDC, and GIS workflows and technologies • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff clearly and effectively • Stay up to date on application functionality, workflows, and industry trends • Consult with clients to identify challenges and recommend innovative, tech-driven solutions • Identify opportunities to introduce Symetri's technology and consulting offerings to clients, including Autodesk products, partner solutions, and custom applications • Support Symetri's sales team with technical presentations and pre-sales client demonstrations • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring alignment with business goals Skills • 4+ years of practical civil engineering or related experience using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D from conceptual design to construction • Experience with the implementation and use of GIS, particularly Esri ArcGIS Pro • Knowledge of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), and modern delivery systems • Proven success with BIM platform technologies within a civil engineering firm or government entity • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field • Professional registration (P.E.) and industry accreditations (ENV SP), E.I.T. are a plus • Knowledge of sustainable design is a plus Benefits • Generous and flexible time off (FTO), plus eight paid holidays • Group health insurance with nominal employee contribution • Employer-paid short and long-term disability coverage • Access to optional benefits through a cafeteria plan, including dental,vision, life insurance, wellness reimbursement program, and other supplemental benefits • Employer match of employee HSA contributions, dollar-for-dollar up to the IRS limit • 401(K) with company match of up to 4% of base salary • Insurance coverage begins first day of employment • FTO and 401(K) after one month of employment Company Overview • What do some of the world’s largest projects have in common?
