[Remote] Apheresis Telerecruiter

The Apheresis Telerecruiter will be responsible for recruiting blood donors via telephone, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records to meet collection goals while providing support to volunteers. Responsibilities Contact by telephone current apheresis and/or whole blood donors to recruit for donation, following a process and appropriate script and escalating difficult calls to senior colleagues Schedule appointments to ensure maximum number of donors are scheduled each day Maintain daily production standard, including phone calls and appointments per hour Develop a working knowledge of donor criteria to inform donors of eligibility and reduce deferral rates Maintain accurate records of donors/groups contacted and appointments scheduled to avoid errors, poor customer relations and to ensure sufficient donor availability Provide support, guided by senior colleagues, to help fixed site recruitment manager develop new leads and implement new donor recruitment programs to ensure an increased donor base and an adequate blood supply Skills High School or equivalent required Ability to work on a team Computer experience Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required Effective verbal communication skills Ability to work with potentially difficult customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 1 year of related experience preferred Benefits Medical, Dental Vision plans Health Spending Accounts & Flexible Spending Accounts PTO: Starting at 15 days a year; based on type of job and tenure Holidays: 11 paid holidays comprised of six core holidays and five floating holidays 401K with up to 6% match Paid Family Leave Employee Assistance Disability and Insurance: Short + Long Term Service Awards and recognition Company Overview American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization whose purpose is to meet the immediate disaster-caused needs of people and communities.
