Registered Nurse - RN Triage Call Center - 11am to 1130pm Rotates Every Other Weekend

Serves patient, customers, and physician customers according to company guidelines. Communicates the summary of patient encounters to patient's physicians, and records all interactions with patients, families, and physicians, and submits these timely to the leader. Responsibilities • Triages symptom-based calls per approved protocols for patients. • Reports results through EPIC system for purposes of tracking and quality assessment. • Provides approved general health information to public caller, assessing needs for information by public callers, and provides information from approved sources. • Exhibits effective communication skills with patients, physicians and others, communicating in a professional, calm and positive manner. • Assumes responsibility for professional development and maintaining required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training, and credentials. • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style. • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards. Requirements • Registered Nurse Diploma • 2 years of relevant experience. • Current RN License in the state of practice. • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information. • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process. • Self-directed • Excellent interpersonal skills • Good judgment skills in handling difficult situations • Excellent organizational skills • Excellent time management skills Nice-to-haves • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing • Pediatric and/or Emergency Department experience • Telehealth nursing experience • Certification in Telehealth Nursing Apply tot his job
