You will be a key player in creating and providing valuable information to healthcare administrators and stakeholders across the US.Please Apply at Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to lead the regions buildings and teams to perform respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct care to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities affecting the pulmonary system. This is a regional role and will require travel within South Carolina between buildings.Essential Duties:Receive and follow schedules/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established policies and procedures.Adhere to the established policies and procedures of the facilities to which the respiratory care practitioner is assigned.Perform focused interviews to identify specific patients' needs.Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential diagnoses.Plan for outcomes of care for assigned patients.Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies.Provide respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic services as ordered by physicians.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions and treatments.Maintain accurate and complete patient records.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.Qualifications:Valid Respiratory Therapist license.Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in respiratory therapy.Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational and time management skills.Local to the Columbia SC area for required travelWork Environment:This position may require travel within the assigned region 4 DAYS/weekWork is performed in a healthcare setting, which may include exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials.
