About the Role: As a Regional Account Specialist, you'll play a vital role in empowering our Account Managers as they partner with audiologists, surgeons, and key decision-makers to bring MED-EL’s life-changing hearing technology to those who need it most. This dynamic position blends hands-on customer engagement with behind-the-scenes operational support—and includes the opportunity to travel up to 75% of the time as part of a passionate, mission-driven team. Primary Responsibilities: • Achieve sales goals and maintain budgetary allowances within assigned accounts through constant collaboration with teammates throughout the entirety of the sales cycle. • Serve as regional expert and main point of contact for ADHEAR. • Execute sales and training strategies within assigned accounts. • Support operating room staff for standard cases within assigned accounts. • Support clinical staff for standard cases within assigned accounts. • Support Account Managers in remaining up to date with internal processes and reporting for handling customer suggestions, requests, and feedback. • Support Account Managers in customer outreach for MED-EL trainings and workshops. • Partner with Account Managers to ensure customers have requested materials, equipment, and resources. • Maintain necessary vendor relationship credentials. • Remain current on‐ and abide by‐ relevant state laws and center‐specific vendor relationship policies with Health Care Providers. • Participate in huddle calls with Account Managers, Region, and internal team members. • Collaborate regularly with internal teammates (Finance, Customer Service, Insurance Support, Marketing, Education, etc.). • Attend national conferences and meetings as requested. • Support regional and organizational projects. • Stay up to date on training and educational requirements, expense reports, and other important processes/initiatives. • Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications: • Masters Degree or greater in Audiology or equivalent • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) - preferred • 1-3 years of relevant work experience • Demonstrate knowledge of the causes and types of hearing loss, audiologic and otologic evaluation techniques and general treatment options. • Demonstrate competency in the anatomy, etiology of disease, indications and contraindications for cochlear implant and bone conduction device candidacy. • Possess highly effective presentation skills in formal and informal settings. • Demonstrate competency in operating MED‐EL equipment and software for performing all clinical tasks. • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to maintain close and collaborative communication with field and corporate teams • Possess strong written and oral communications skills • Demonstrate IT (computer, internet, smart phone, etc.) literacy required to function professionally and competently. • Embody MED-EL’s core values of being a team player, valued partner, performance driven, and innovative. • Exhibit courteous and professional behavior during interactions with consumer and professional members or the public‐at‐large while representing MED‐EL Corporation. • Resides in North Carolina - Required What We Offer: We know that benefits are important to you, and we offer a robust benefits package including: • Medical, dental, and vision coverage available, effective on the first day of the month following 30 days of active service. • 401k Match • Health Savings Account • Short term and long-term disability paid by the company. • Company paid life insurance with an option to purchase additional coverage. • FSA Dependent Care • Pet Insurance • Critical Illness • Accident Insurance • PTO – 20 days annual that is accrued each pay period.
