React Native Developer to Take Over Existing Project and Publish to App Stores

Job Summary We’re building a speech improvement app and need an experienced React Native developer to take over from our current developer and bring the product to the next stage. Our team has UX/design in-house, so this role is heavily focused on high-fidelity, pixel-perfect implementation, clean architecture, and the ability to ship reliably to both app stores. You’ll step into an existing codebase, get it stable, complete remaining features, and own the release pipeline for iOS and Android. Responsibilities • Take ownership of an existing React Native codebase and continue development with minimal ramp-up time • Implement screens and flows pixel-perfect from our in-house UX designs (spacing, typography, animations, edge cases) • Set up and/or maintain iOS + Android build/release pipelines • Publish and manage releases to: • Apple App Store (App Store Connect) • Google Play Console • Implement or maintain payments (subscriptions and/or one-time purchases), including: • Apple In-App Purchases / Google Play Billing Required Skills / Experience • Strong professional experience with React Native (shipping production apps) • Proven experience publishing apps to both Apple App Store and Google Play • Payments experience (must have shipped at least one): • In-App Purchases / subscriptions OR equivalent payment system • Comfortable taking over someone else’s codebase and shipping improvements quickly • Pixel-perfect UI implementation (you can match designs precisely) • Solid debugging skills across iOS/Android • Clear communication and reliable status updates How to Apply Please include: • Links to 2–3 React Native apps you shipped • A short note on your experience with App Store + Play Store publishing • Your experience implementing subscriptions/IAP Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $30.00 - $80.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
