Position Overview As a Program Director, Distressed Investing and Financial Restructuring, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of training for incoming analysts and associates while influencing industry standards. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives, create high-quality educational content, and deliver impactful training sessions. Key Responsibilities Practice Leadership: Lead the growth and strategy of WSP's distressed investing and financial restructuring practice, driving innovation and excellence in our training programs. Curriculum Development: Develop and refine curriculum and materials for certification programs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and relevance. Training Delivery: Deliver engaging and impactful training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to finance professionals and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise in distressed investing and financial restructuring. Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to align our training programs with industry needs and best practices. Requirements Professional Experience: Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of experience in distressed investing or financial restructuring, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices. Investment Banking Experience: At least 2 years of experience at a top-tier investment banking firm, providing a solid foundation in finance and deal-making. Content Creation and Teaching Passion: Teaching and Mentoring: Strong enthusiasm for mentoring and educating finance professionals, with a passion for sharing knowledge and expertise. Content Creation: Experience creating instructional content is a plus, though not required; prior teaching or training experience is preferred but not mandatory. Commitment and Availability: Part-time Commitment: Availability for 20–30 hours per week in a part-time, contract capacity, providing flexibility and work-life balance. Flexibility and Mobility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
