Key Responsibilities As a Production Supervisor at Teasdale Latin Foods, you will be responsible for: Establishing daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicating them to employees to ensure alignment and focus. Managing the workflow by assigning responsibilities, preparing schedules, and monitoring productivity to ensure efficient use of resources. Guiding and coaching employees, providing feedback and support to help them develop their skills and achieve their full potential. Verifying production output according to specifications and quality standards to ensure that products meet customer requirements. Preparing reports on performance and progress and presenting them to senior managers to inform business decisions. Detecting issues in efficiency and suggesting improvements to optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement. Consulting new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. Ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards to prevent accidents and injuries. Overseeing sanitation and chemical usage to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Completing incident and accident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a production supervisory role or similar position, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control. Good practical experience with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a results-driven approach and a focus on achieving business objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers. Self-motivated and an efficient problem solver, with the ability to analyze problems and implement effective solutions. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous production experience in the bakery or food manufacturing industry. Certifications in food safety, quality control, or a related field. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
