Check out more information about Prime Air on the About Amazon blog: Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Product Support Engineer to join our Prime Air team. As a key member of our Product Support Organization, you'll be responsible for driving the deployment of hardware and software functionality, pursuing continuous improvement, and investigating issues across multiple disciplines. This role requires demonstrated troubleshooting capabilities, innovative thinking, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Drive the deployment of hardware and software functionality across Prime Air programs Pursue continuous improvement and investigate issues across multiple disciplines Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operational functions to drive efficient delivery Decompose ambiguous problems into straightforward solutions Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across design and operations spaces Lead continuous improvement efforts and drive operational efficiency Work with suppliers, repair stations, and recertification teams to ensure seamless execution Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent Experience working in design, product (technical or operational) support, or field service Experience with new product introduction/launch, and change introduction Experience with project planning and prioritization of requests Experience working on aerospace products/projects or in other regulated fields like healthcare or automotive Experience with troubleshooting, trend analysis, and RCCA (root cause and corrective action) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with customer-facing roles Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and driving operational efficiency Experience with quality systems Experience with change management and technology deployment Experience with design or redesign of integrated systems Experience working with suppliers Experience with repair stations and recertification Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Exceptional customer focus and problem-solving skills Regulatory understanding and ability to convert lessons learned to requirement update requests Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Amazon, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
