Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, technically proficient, and results-driven Product Development Project Manager to lead complex product development initiatives from concept through delivery. This role combines strong project management expertise with technical understanding of engineering processes, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, and cost objectives. The ideal candidate excels at cross-functional coordination, risk management, and driving accountability across diverse teams. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage product development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts; monitor progress and control scope changes. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution. Identify critical procurements and manage supplier relationships to maintain delivery timelines. Facilitate daily and weekly status meetings, ensuring production and engineering deliverables meet schedule requirements. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior leadership. Drive resolution of technical issues, nonconformances, and schedule risks through proactive problem-solving. Maintain accurate documentation including project plans, meeting notes, and status dashboards. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk across the product development lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Program Management, or related field required. Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management or product development, preferably in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing. Certifications such as DAWIA Level I (Program Management, Lifecycle Logistics, Systems Engineering) strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and technical requirements. Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and supply chain coordination. Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, IMS scheduling).
