Responsibilities • Serve as project manager for Final Drug Product New Process Introductions (NPI) into Amgen Ohio. • Implement various drug product formats (e.g. vial, syringe, auto injectors, etc.) and new processes and equipment. • Lead coordination and project management activities such as project initiation, planning, resource management, budget management, risk management, and reporting. • Coordinate with various project managers, workstream leads, and subject matter experts from functions including finance, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and process development. • Monitor the progress of projects and identify and communicate project risks. • Facilitate discussion and meetings for mitigation strategy or decision-making sessions. • Support a safe working environment by complying with all pertinent environmental health/safety practices, rules, and regulations. Requirements • Doctorate degree or Master's degree and 2 years of project management experience or Bachelor's degree and 4 years of project management experience or Associate's degree and 8 years of project management experience or High school diploma / GED and 10 years of project management experience. • Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools. • Experience with medical device design development and manufacturing. • Fundamentally sound project management/organization, technical writing, computer skills, and communication/presentation skills. • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information with internal and external colleagues. Nice-to-haves • Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet preferred). • Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Independent, self-motivated, organized, able to multi-task in project environments.
