About the position The PAM Governance Analyst will join the Privileged Access Management (PAM) Governance team at State Street in Quincy, Massachusetts. This role focuses on ensuring that privileged access standards are met through the creation and maintenance of automated and manual controls. The candidate will collaborate with a small onshore team and an operations team in India, responsible for designing and implementing new controls while testing existing ones. The position allows for a hybrid work model, balancing remote and in-office work. Responsibilities • Test current standards by gathering and reviewing data from various infrastructure systems including Active Directory, Windows, Unix/Linux, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, RACF, AWS, Azure, OCI and other Clouds. • Learn how State Street's IGA and Cybersecurity systems are integrated and design controls within that context. • Write requirements documents and specifications for systems to enforce automated controls. • Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to understand their operational models and provide guidance for onboarding their privileged access to CyberArk and/or Hashicorp. • Respond to lines of defense queries about controls and privileged access management policies and procedures. • Maintain documentation for privileged access policies and procedures. • Attend vendor training and customer support events for CyberArk, Hashicorp and other products. • Prepare manual compliance reports as necessary until full automation is in place. • Propose and champion modifications to the security standards. • Assist members of the IT community with questions about policy and standards. • Design and implement new processes and procedures as needed to enhance security posture and controls. Requirements • 3 to 7 years experience with privileged access management. • Understanding of cybersecurity risk management. • Familiarity with technology, especially Azure, AWS, Linux, and Windows. • BS/BA degree in a technical discipline. • Strong oral and written skills in English. • Familiarity with Windows, Unix, Linux, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, SQL, PowerShell, and Linux shell scripting. • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management/Privileged Access Management concepts and best practices. Nice-to-haves • Exposure to technologies such as Jira and Confluence. • Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
