Privacy Specialist
About the position Responsibilities • Intake all privacy reports and document findings. • Research applicable policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. • Support holistic investigation of privacy matters. • Prepare required action items based on investigative findings. • Perform routine auditing and monitoring of privacy-related elements. • Work interdepartmentally to prepare analytics. • Mitigate root causes of non-compliance from privacy dashboard findings. • Assist in training and mitigation efforts as appropriate. Requirements • Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. • Previous experience in Healthcare, Business, or Data Analysis preferred. • Understanding of HIPAA Privacy and Security Laws and Regulations. • Experience in data aggregation and analytics recommended. • Healthcare experience is highly preferred. Nice-to-haves • Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management, and organizational skills. • Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness. • Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation). • Strong customer focus and ability to build an engaging culture.
