This high-impact solution accelerates the delivery of benefits to Veterans and their families. For our Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) support for FOIA/PA, the Quality Control Analyst oversees the review of completed FOIA/PA requests to ensure the redaction process is accurate and complete to VBA standards. The role focuses on quality control, defect detection, and process improvement to ensure the highest quality output completing redaction of Veteran files. The candidate will work closely with the FOIA/PA technical tools staff and FOIA/PA subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify continuous process improvements using automated tools and manual redaction overrides. Responsibilities: • Performs extensive document reviews to ensure the UCAP FOIA/PA redaction process is accurate and complete before redacted documents are delivered to VBA customer. • Participate in regular meetings to cultivate effective FOIA/PA redaction techniques and areas for improvement to address quality issues. • Interacts with FOIA/PA subject matter experts to audit technical accuracy of completed redaction documents. • Audits training classes based on a training schedule. Travel is required to conduct these on-site training classes at subcontractor facilities. • Uses professional judgement to ingest VBA quality standards into the FOIA/PA redaction business rules and processes. • Maintains current knowledge of FOIA/PA technology, functionality and capabilities. Qualifications: • 2+ years of document review with a BA/BS degree • 1+ years of experience evaluating / reviewing redacted documents for FOIA or PA purposes • Expertise in process improvement, technology adoption, and stakeholder engagement strategies. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Current or previous Veterans Affairs experience Job Type: Contract Pay: $50,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
