About the position The position involves designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end Machine Learning (ML) solutions on both Cloud and traditional infrastructure. The role focuses on providing expertise in AI/ML transformation initiatives and ongoing Cloud migrations, while also generating visualization dashboards and building CI/CD pipelines for production deployment. The candidate will drive development efforts to enhance automated solution discovery and detection. Responsibilities • Provides ML solutions for data-driven and actionable insights to enable objective informed decisions. • Maintains technical infrastructure to remain compliant with updates. • Collaborates with vendors to evaluate machine learning models. • Tests technical solutions in the production environment to ensure optimal function. • Develops new solutions in cloud-native scalable architecture. • Communicates revenue or cost saving benefits to senior leadership. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Data Modeler or closely related occupation building data science applications from inception to production at scale using Python, advanced analytics, statistics, and ML and Deep Learning techniques. • Or, alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Data Modeler or closely related occupation. • Demonstrated expertise in coordinating with business, product, and engineering teams to analyze business requirements and convert them to ML/AI solutions. • Experience driving analytics and ML initiatives within a financial services environment. • Experience designing and developing scalable and secure in-house solutions using Cloud technologies (EC2, AWS Sagemaker, Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, S3, and Jenkins pipelines). • Proficiency in data collation using SQL and data manipulation, exploration, analysis, visualization, and reporting using Python. Nice-to-haves • Experience with Tableau and PowerPoint for presenting findings. • Knowledge of advanced analytics and ML based projects in a financial services context.
