Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of General Electric's technology infrastructure and security systems. Design and implement secure and scalable solutions on the AWS platform to protect company data and assets. Conduct regular security assessments and identify vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate solutions and improvements. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cyber security, particularly in regards to AWS and network security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of technology projects. Monitor and investigate security incidents and breaches, taking swift action to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for information security and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for all cyber security matters, providing expert advice and guidance to senior management. Mentor and train junior team members on cyber security best practices and procedures. Proactively identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both technical and non-technical, to ensure a secure and efficient technology environment. Continuously evaluate and improve existing security measures and implement new technologies and processes to enhance security. Manage relationships with external security vendors and partners, as needed. Represent General Electric at industry events and conferences, promoting our commitment to cyber security.
