Department Overview The North America Solutions Deployment and Integration (SDI) organization is dedicated to empowering the public safety sector with cutting-edge solutions and unwavering support. We deploy and support products such as Computer-Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, Jail Management Systems, Mobile Data Computing, Situational Awareness, and Investigative tools. Job Summary As a PremierOne Records Application Specialist, you will play a critical role in understanding and addressing customers' business requirements for MSI applications. You will be responsible for documenting business process requirements, implementing system provisioning, configuring workflows and UI, and providing comprehensive training on the MSI PremierOne Records Management System. Additionally, you will conduct testing and troubleshooting of installed systems, document technical issues, and provide valuable feedback for product and process improvements based on client experiences. Key Responsibilities: Document business process requirements and implement system provisioning for MSI applications Configure workflows and UI for optimal system performance Provide comprehensive training on the MSI PremierOne Records Management System Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting of installed systems Document technical issues and escalate to product and system integration teams as needed Offer valuable feedback for product and process improvements based on client experiences Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and develop solutions Work with product management to communicate enhancement requests Requirements and Qualifications Basic Requirements: 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Field Service, or Public Safety using Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Record Management Systems (RMS), or Jail Management Systems (JMS) 1+ year of experience in Law Enforcement Records Management Systems Ability to obtain background clearance as required by government customers Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely Preferred Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently on large/complex projects Experience creating and delivering customized training (remote and onsite) Proficiency in executing, creating, reviewing, and modifying FVTs Excellent interpersonal communication skills Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on PremierOne or Flex; CAD, RMS, or SSRS products SME on Client Installation of MSI products SME on UCR (NIBRS or SRS) Ability to produce and deliver Business Process Reviews Experience identifying and mitigating risks and communicating those to management Ability to create formal documentation for peers Experience training and mentoring new employees Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Motorola Solutions, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
