(PRECERTIFICATION) AUTHORIZATIONS FOR MEDICAL FACILITIES – REMOTE IC

Independent Contractor Position. (1099) Work from HOME. Looking for experienced prior authorization applicants who can be available Monday - Friday. Hours vary depending on the hours you wish to work. Choose your hours between 8 AM EST to 6 PM EST. Part time hours or all day hours. Job description Obtain Precertification authorizations. Responsibilities: • To obtain authorizations by reviewing medical records via the client’s EMR, and then contacting the insurance company for approval and documenting the outcomes! Phoenix will offer hints and shortcuts for getting through the authorization process quickly! Earnings/Rates • Pay is transaction based. You are paid by the project! Potential to earn $20-$30+ per hour. You control your earnings based on your production. • You will invoice for your transactions • Remote Orientation to learn the protocols provided by the Client and documentation in the EMR. • As an Independent Contractor, it is assumed you come with the skills to perform these projects. • Choose the hours that you wish to be available for accepting projects (cases) • The more projects you complete, the higher your earnings. Higher volumes earn higher rates. Many earn $20-$30+ per hour. Tiered rates; the more you do, the more you make! Qualifications • Minimum 3-years' experience medical prior authorizations and medical terminology, providing clinical information, via phone AND online. • Experience with pharmacy medications, infusions, physical therapy, occupational therapy, DME. • Experience with NY Medicaid, Medicaid managed care, commercial insurances. • Prior EMR experience, on-line portals (i.e. Availity, Evicore) is A PLUS! • Strong Computer Skills, using Multiple windows and browsers simultaneously, include Microsoft Office experience • Good Phone presence and grammar and spelling • Detail oriented with excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task and work independently Requirements • Own or lease Microsoft Office • 2 computer monitors mandatory and will help to achieve high earning production • High speed internet access (no Hotspots or Satellite) Job Types: Full or Part time Rate: Potential to earn $400+ a week minimum Daytime hours • Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: From $400.00 per week Application Question(s): • What types of authorizations have you worked with (i.e., PT, OT, pharmacy, chemo, surgery, radiology, etc)?
